OOC: Serving up a hefty dose of infopost

This is Vincent. He's from Eureka, Syfy's fun little show about "the world's smartest little town" or something to that effect. Basically, where Vincent's from, everyone's a genius, and most of the adults work for a government funded R&D facility called Global Dynamics. Pretty much the entire town is top secret and protected by a giant electromagnetic force field to keep people from happening by to discover that, oh hey, the local drug store sells a cure for the common cold.
Because that's totally a top secret.
Vincent is the local master chef. He has a PhD in molecular gastronomy, and may get the midnight urge to baste something. He can cook anything you request of him, so long as its from an Earth equivalent and you can describe it (he'll work on the interplanetary ingredients) and he absolutely loves a challenge. He's the new proprietor of Luke's (recently renamed after his Eureka based restaurant Cafe Diem ended up merging with Luke's Diner in an interdimensional space-time bridge manipulator accident) and just a generally cheerful, friendly kind of guy -- and a major gossip hound -- so do come by and say hi!
This is Sam. She can kick your ass (maybe, probably, if you don't have super powers). She's the scrappy, amusingly sociopathic cohost of iCarly, her universe's most popular web variety show put together by more-than-averagely-attractive teenagers.

randomspanish). She got arrested one too many times (this time for dumping a smoothie over a cop's head) and the judge decided that, since boarding school was working so well for her twin sister Melanie, it was time to try it with Sam.
Yes, Sam's the evil twin. That's part of why she's so fun.
Sam will eat just about anything, though she's particularly fond of meat. She will quite likely eat your food and/or insult and/or throw something at your character when they interact. It's nothing personal, she does that to everyone (who gives me OOC permission to do so). She's miraculously managed not to land in serious trouble yet in Fandom, but give her time. It's bound to happen eventually.
Sam and Freddie still do their weekly iCarly broadcasts from the island. Information on this can be found here. Freddie-mun and I are pretty much always looking for more people to join in the fun (and I need to get on contacting those who've offered their characters'dignity services), so check it out!
This is Claudia. She's adorable. She's bubbly. And she's probably smarter than you are.
Claudia's from Warehouse 13, Syfy's answer to The X-files and Indiana Jones. You know that giant warehouse at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark full of boxes upon boxes of mysterious stuff? Yeah. Warehouse 13 is like that, only everything's on display to play with. Because the place is totally run by geniuses. *nods*
Claudia's life to date has not always been awesome. Her parents died when she was little, and her older brother, who raised her after that, vanished in a mysterious teleportation experiment with a complex compass from the 16th century, and she got kicked around the system for a bit, bouncing from foster home to foster home before getting shipped off to Fandom, because no one in Minneapolis wanted to deal with her, any more. Luckily for my girl, she's made some great friends here, and has managed now to get her brother unstuck from a pocket dimension, and landed herself a weekend gig doing inventory at the great and wonderful Warehouse of Weird. Which . . . is my excuse for the fact that I'm rarely logged in on weekends.
This also might mean that, in addition to whatever experiments she gets up to on the island, she could also potentially wander home with a mystical artifact of old, like, say, Houdini's wallet. She's totally already made off with a long range taser built by Tesla himself.

Need something (mostly handwavily) invented? Claudia's your girl. She builds awesome devices out of random crap she has lying around. She can possibly fix your random technology, too, even if it's something she's never seen before. She just might ask if she can play with it before giving it back to you. She'll be (mostly) careful, she promises! She hasn't blown anything up in ages!
This is Castiel. He's an angel, from After-Elton's favorite crazy CW genre show starring two hot brothers who are hot for each other?, Supernatural. Castiel used to run Our Lady of Fandom with the help of a handful of rambunctious cats, but has since been called back to his own universe to help with the whole "apocalypse" thing. These days, he's attempting to run Heaven in the absence of his older brother Michael, with the help of the new King of Hell, Crowley, and his best not-dead angelic buddy, Balthazar. He needs those alliances, see, because the archangel Raphael is trying to depose Castiel, end angelic free will, and reboot the apocalypse. Why? Because he thinks it's God's will. Why does he think this? Because it's what he wants, so it must therefore be what He wants.
It's entirely possible that Castiel will shortly win this battle with Raphael and manage to obtain what he believes is god-hood. Because my canon is on serious crack and that just sounds like way too much fun. If I ever work out the details, this may end up being a plot here in Fandom. So keep your eyes open for it.
This is Priestly. He's from Ten Inch Hero, which is a fluffy little indie rom-com about young adults working at a sandwich shop in Santa Cruz. He's a punk. But he's a punk in that happy-go-lucky, anarchy-is-about-love-not-violence, my-role-models-are-actually-hippies kind of way. But with a mohawk and strong beliefs regarding the tyranny of various governmental systems and the power of the people. Since graduation, he's been hanging out back in Santa Cruz, working at his friend Trucker's sub shop and going to culinary school to become a great chef.
But, see, then he turned into his future self for the weekend and discovered that culinary school quite possibly leads to an empty life as a reality tv star in the midst of a loveless marriage. So he dropped out of culinary school, took a leave of absence from the sub shop (Trucker wouldn't let him quit) and set out to backpack around the world and learn the craft of cooking by working in various diners, chipperies, taco stands, and noodle carts.

Not literally. But I am kind of insane and tend to come up with somewhat bizarre ideas that I like to shaaaare.
I'm a soon-to-be-30-year-old east coaster who works evenings. I'm primarily about in the afternoons/early evenings on weekdays, when I'm stuck at a desk. After around 9 pm EST, I'm more likely to be in and out as I drive home, run errands, and sew useless little bits of things that I then pass off to friends and family so they don't fill my tiny apartment, and spend my weekends sitting around at least in proximity of a computer, if not actually online. I'm usually available by email at bellatemple (at) gmail (dot) com -- I'm sometimes on AIM in the evenings/weekends as "NotISaidDuck" -- and I'm pretty easy going, so feel free to shoot me an email if you've got something to say or ask. For serious.
I've somehow managed to convince myself I can handle this many characters. Please bear with me a bit as I work out precisely how to do that. If you're looking for interaction with any of my characters, let me know. I'm almost always up for it, even if I occasionally require bouts of slow-play.
